Located in Richmond, Virginia, Virago Spirits dares to be bold, embracing a spirit of adventure and a willingness to stray from the beaten path. Inspired by the Virago—a symbol of strength and determination—they focus on crafting uncommon, exceptional spirits that stand apart. Specializing in distinctive gin and rum, they are dedicated to pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo.
For Marble Blue Hotel & Bar in Positano, I developed a branding that captures the essence of la dolce vita, blending flowy fonts inspired by the ocean with a palette of calming blues and neutral tones. The visual identity evokes the serene, luxurious atmosphere of the coastal destination, providing an immersive experience for guests. In addition to the brand design, I created custom keys for each room, door hangers, and dinner and cocktail menus for the onsite beach lounge, ensuring every touchpoint reflected the hotel’s elegant and tranquil vibe.
I managed social design, strategy, and Instagram account management for the inaugural Iron Blossom Music Festival at The Training Center on Leigh in Richmond, Virginia. Developed a cohesive visual identity and digital presence, ensuring strong brand communication and audience engagement. I worked closely with team members and stakeholders to bring the festival’s vision to life, driving excitement and awareness for its debut year. Additionally, I contributed to merchandise concepts.
For Rune Tattoo Studio, a proudly women-owned and led space, I crafted a bold and distinctive brand identity that reflects its rebellious yet artistic spirit. Balancing sophistication with an edgy, gothic aesthetic, I designed a dark, moody color palette with rich burgundy accents and bold Old English typography. The goal was to create a brand as striking and unique as the tattoos they design, capturing the studio’s commitment to artistry, individuality, and empowerment. The result is a cohesive visual identity and digital presence that seamlessly blend creativity with edge.
For The Frozen Farmer, I created a suite of digital assets and marketing materials that highlight the brand’s commitment to reducing food waste by transforming “imperfect” farm-fresh produce into delicious ice cream and sorbet. The digital campaigns included eye-catching ads for Kroger and other supermarkets, carefully optimized for various placements and display formats. Additionally, I designed an engaging, informational one-pager aimed at expanding The Frozen Farmer’s retail presence, helping to pitch the brand to grocery chains across the U.S. Through thoughtful design, I helped communicate their mission while ensuring visual appeal and brand consistency across all touchpoints.
The Hera brand takes its name from the Goddess Hera, the revered goddess of women. Reflecting this divine inspiration, each product is thoughtfully named with heavenly and celestial themes, such as the Starlit Smoothing Spray and Heavenly Hair Fragrance. The Heavenly Hair Fragrance is truly one of a kind. This spray not only leaves hair beautifully scented but also adds a touch of shimmer, provides deep moisture, and doubles as a heat protectant. Every Hera product is crafted with high-quality ingredients designed to lock in moisture, restore the hair’s natural barrier, and deliver lasting style, shine, and protection.
For Medical Home Plus (MHP), an organization dedicated to advocating for families of children with disabilities, I managed all social media accounts and engagement while designing visuals that blend educational and motivational elements to empower families. Specializing in helping families navigate their child’s educational supports within public school settings, my designs focused on providing clear and accessible information. I also created a one-pager print design that explained MHP’s impact and services as an educational resource. The overall branding and design approach fostered a sense of support, clarity, and empowerment for the families MHP serves.
For Communities In Schools, I worked to redesign their website, making it more user-friendly while reflecting their fun, updated branding. The goal was to highlight their mission and the students they serve by creating an engaging and accessible experience for visitors. Their mission—surrounding students with a caring community of support and providing access to critical resources like food, housing, guidance, and technology—was at the forefront of the design. The website now effectively communicates their impactful work, empowering students to take charge of the future they want for themselves.
